# Meridian desktop distribution preparation

This is a preparation note, not a published release or a download announcement.

The Windows x64 tray companion is being prepared. No public installer, certified Windows version,
publisher signature, final file size or checksum is available here yet.

Public downloads will be linked from https://www.meridian4pm.com/download only after signing,
physical Windows acceptance, compatible backend deployment and anonymous download checks pass.
Release binaries will use immutable versioned assets in the organization-owned downloads repository
https://github.com/meridian4pm/meridian-desktop-downloads. The private application repository stays private.

The companion requires a Meridian account and online service. It observes idle duration and
interruptions, not keystrokes, screenshots or applications used. Changes to tracked time require
review. Updates will be manual; there is no automatic updater.
