Meridian for Windows
Your timer, a little closer.
A desktop companion for your Meridian time tracker. Keep it in the tray and review time away before changing your entries.
Windows x64 only. macOS, Linux and Windows ARM are not supported.
Download not available yet
We are preparing the Windows x64 companion. A signed public installer will appear here after Windows testing and service compatibility checks are complete.
No public release, version or checksum is available to verify yet.
Distribution preparation notes (not a release)Before you install
You need a Meridian account, access to time tracking and an internet connection to the Meridian service. There are no independent offline timers. Interrupted monitoring is reviewed after reconnecting.
Create an account or sign in. You can keep using Timesheets in your browser.
The release scope is Windows x64. Supported Windows versions will be listed only after physical testing; none are certified here yet.
Inactivity, not surveillance
Meridian observes system idle duration and lock or sleep interruptions. It does not record keystrokes, screenshots or applications used. It asks before changing tracked time. Recovered interruptions are approximate, not proof of inactivity.
Closing the window hides it in the tray. Quit exits the companion but does not stop your server timer. One monitoring PC per account is supported at a time.
Read our privacy policyInstall and update manually
- When a release is available, download the installer here. Compare its SHA-256 and size with the release record, and check its digital signature and publisher in Windows Properties. Do not bypass Windows security warnings.
- Run the per-user installer, then open Meridian and sign in. Review launch-at-login and idle reminder preferences.
- For updates, check your installed version in the tray menu, then choose “Downloads & release notes…” to open this page in your browser. There is no automatic update or background installer download.
- Before updating, resolve pending time reviews and quit the companion. Read the new release notes, verify the new installer, then install it. Quit alone does not stop a running timer.
Installers are hosted in the public downloads-only GitHub repository. Your Meridian workspace and account are separate from that repository.
